- For a while it was telling Peter that she had endometriosis, and that she was infertile and unable to have kids. She figured he would leave her if he found out the truth. Peter didn't.
- For Sophie it had always been staying in one place for far to long. She really likes to travel and see the world.
- She also has a big weakness for Peter and his comical self. She fell in love with him, when she met him in the hospital.

Sophie has always had a good life and because of that, she has always been in a good mindset and good mood. She is sort of the women everyone can depend on at times. That was until she got her heart broken by her soon to be husband. She had told him that she couldn't give him kids, so with that, she left him and went onto exploring the world. She figured it would give her the much needed space, and it would clean and clear her mind.

While she was gone, her heart had iced for a while. She explored the world, and she loved every minute of it. She had ran into Peter after an unfortunate accident, where she had broken her leg. It was in the hospital, it was then that Sophie realized she was in love with Peter. She would return to him periodically because he was her rock.

When he asked her to stay, she couldn't bring herself at that moment to settle down, so she left. She was gone, and she wasn't going to come back. She came back, because of some soul searching, and now has roots at Horizon. Since arriving back, she has gone threw heartbreak, including a surgery, which may have made her less prone to injury, however she feels like her heart is breaking, and she fears Peter doesn't really want to be with her.

Since coming back now, she is a bit on the protective side. She wants to protect herself and the students of Horizon, but because of what went on. She is still on the edge. She fears that Peter won't stay with her, and that he will find someone who can have kids. She secretly hopes that her fears are wrong, but well one would never know unless they reach out. She has been reaching out for Peter now. So far he is reaching back.

Sophie was born to it would seem two people who really loved each other. Well during Sophie's life, her parents decided they just weren't in love anymore. They separated, and it got her thinking that love really would ever exist. It got her afraid to ever really get a boyfriend or someone she could date. She graduated from high school via the internet, because of the fact that she wanted little or no contact with some of the students that attending school. She didn't feel like ever talking to them, before high school, elementary and middle school were done home school style. Which was much easier for Sophie. It was because of the reason that her mother was able to get Sophie threw her classes, then she let her do her home schooling for high school on the internet. Soon after graduating high school, she went on to college on the internet as well.

She obtained her counseling degree, as well as her teaching degree. She figured if she could help someone, then it might make her feel better about herself. She tried going and applying for a school in Cuba. Which she was able to obtain. While in Cuba, she had done a lot of things she wouldn't have done at home. She fell in love with a man who was so wonderful, she had thought she dreamt him up. However when they were getting close, she told him that she couldn't have kids. He just up and left her figuring that she was nothing but a liar and that someone was punishing him. It wasn't her fault, she was born with it.

She left Cuba and ended up going back to America. She soon ended up in the hospital, he had overdosed, she broke her leg. It was there that the two of them had developed a friendship. However because of the issue Peter had, they lost touch while he was at Horizon. They soon found each other shortly after that, Peter asked her to stay at Horizon, she told him she had a nonrefundable trip and she had to take it. It was an easy why to tell him no.

Soon after that, she was back ready and willing to help the students and Peter. Her relationship had always seemed to suffer when the endometriosis kept acting up over and over again. She had to go and get surgery to make it better. She had lied and told Peter she was going to a spa, some spa that was. She then had to lie to him again and again. Soon though it was hard to lie. He kept pressuring her to marry him. She agreed, however recently she told him that she couldn't have kids. She thought he would leave, he stayed, and they are engaged to be married.
