Overall personality: Camilla is a pretty strong girl. She rarely ever cries, but when she does it's never in front of other people. She's only done that in front of her abuela and once at the rehab facility she went to in her early twenties. She's always been someone that people can lean on. It used to be that she didn't really let anyone get close to her, but that changed after she got herself together. Even still the girl's a pretty tough cookie to crack and she can handle pretty much anything that is thrown her way.

Camilla is a pretty funny chick. The kids usually don't get to her very easily. She was just like them when she was their age so she understands what they are going through. She can be sarcastic with the best of them as well as funny and caring. She gives tough love when needed, sometimes a little too much, but she's working on it. She loves active sports really so whenever the kids have to go for a hike, climb, or kayaking she's always game to accompany them. She's very fun loving and when she gets a bit intoxicated, well you better watch out cause she'll definitely show you a good time.

History : Camilla was born in Medillin, Colombia which had one of the highest crime rates in the country. The city was overrun by drug cartels and crime. While she was born in a very dangerous place, she was born to a very loving family. Her mother and father raised her the best that they could, trying to keep her from seeing bad things. They weren't always successful. Even so, Camilla loved her city, district, and country with all her heart. Both of her parents were hard workers, trying to provide for their daughter. She had the best relationship possible with her mother and father. Her mother's parents both lived in Medillin with though, though her grandfather was originally from the states.

Unfortunately, when Camilla was 11 years old, both of her parents were killed in front of her. To this day she doesn't know why. She just knows that two men entered the house where they lived and her mother told her to run out of the back to and to her grandparents house. She was out the door when she turned around and went back into the house, afraid to leave her parents. She saw them shot in the head, both killed instantly. She muffled her screams and ran to her grandparents house. Her grandparents had both feared that this day would happen. That night, they took their granddaughter and got out of the country.

Camilla's grandparents helped her apply for citizenship. Camilla doesn't remember much for the first few years that she was in Seattle. Everything was really a blur. She kept to herself and didn't talk to many other children. Eventually, she got mixed up in a bad crowd. She smoked, drank, partied non-stop. She put her grandparents through hell. She was on a very destructive path that didn't stop until she was 21. When she turned 21 she was driving along, high out of her mind on too many drugs to name. She took her eyes off the road for a second and before she knew it she hit something in the road. She freaked out when she realized it was a person and sped off, never looking back. It was then that she realized that she needed to get her life together.

She entered a rehab facility and got herself clean, dealing with all her feelings. Her grandparents were so proud that they had their granddaughter back. She got her GED and went to college while working. She's jumped around as far as jobs go, doing everything from mechanic work to waitressing and even teaching. She finally realized that she wanted to work with troubled teens. She worked at a few facilities around Seattle before hearing about Horizon. She's been there for 3 years and she loves it. To this day she still hasn't told anyone about the hit and run accident.
