Running wasn't exactly as satisfying as perhaps, skateboarding or motocross, but it was a million times better than walking. It was even better in the afternoon, surrounded by trees, grass, and animals, and it was serene. However, Damian didn't really enjoy as much as he should've. No, maybe if it was suddenly darker, possibly raining, and he was running away from angry bears and a mad man with a chainsaw then maybe he would like it. Actually, probably not. A relaxing change of pace was good, but adventure was better. Damian lived for the excitement and the risk.
Exhilarated, he took a break and leaned against a large oak tree. This was the only possible way he felt alive. Mt. Horizon was boring, but then again, it was a better option than jail. At least he had the freedom to run around like this and not have people care. Damian yawned, and glanced up at the sky. It was getting a cloudy, a possible chance of rain. Not that he had a problem with that. Rain was not a problem, nor would it ever be to him. In fact, it was almost welcomed. He liked the rain, drowsing him in cold water. If only it would come sooner...
Frowning, he saw someone in the distant. It wasn't a raccoon, that was for sure. The figure was too tall and didn't even have a tail. Damian didn't mind however. He didn't care if another person was here too. For a few seconds, he considered ignoring them. Some of the campers were a bit...well, grumpy to say the least and would probably yell at him, beat him up, or just ignore him if he tried to start a conversation. He thought it would be best to just leave them alone. Then again, Damian felt rude if he didn't at least acknowledge them.
"Hey," he called out. "It looks like it's about to rain soon, so uh," He paused feeling like an idiot. They probably already knew. "Uh, yeah, it would be best to go back inside." He got up from the tree, and stretched up his arms in a giant yawn. "Uh, sorry," he apologized, for telling them, just in case they were pissed he bothered them. "Just felt like you ought to know..." With that, he started walking away from the oak and back onto the forest trail.

*i love this place ! BUT IT'S HAUNTED WITHOUT YOU Karianne walked along the Forest Trails carefully, hoping that wearing the new chucks her sister Nevaeh had sent her wasn't a mistake. The trials were filled with debris and rocks, but nothing too bad. As long as she paid attention she probably wouldn't hurt herself. She'd gotten a bit used to the trails since she'd gotten here. She couldn't believe she'd already been here for what? 8 months. 8 months of counselors trying to get her to talk about her feelings. It wasn't too bad here really. She just didn't think anyone would be able to get rid of her guilt. It was something she would have to deal with on her own.
When she'd left out of her cabin earlier, she grabbed her hoodie. It looking like it was pretty windy and it would probably rain soon. She knew that the storms out here could get pretty serious, but she would be back before anything serious happened. She took a stop along the trails. She leaned against the tree. She was so deep in thought for awhile that she didn't see someone coming near her on the trail. When a guy's voice broke into the quiet she jumped a bit. He was warning her about the weather. She just looked at him stunned a bit. When he started to walk away she said, "Wait. Umm... sorry you just kind of scared me a bit. Thanks. I know about the rain. I'll be in before it storms. What about you? What are you doing out here?" * my tired heart is beating slow, slow ! , OUR HEARTS HAVE SEEN LESS THAN THEY WANTED, WE WANTED tagged , damian!. outfit , outfit!words , . lyrics , little house by amanda seyfreid status , finished. notes , well hello there.
