Overall personality:

Damian is a good-natured guy, but makes a lot of mistakes. He's into extremes and ignores the fact that he could get hurt. That's what makes him reckless, and a bit impulsive. However, Damian is the last person you would call a coward or too mean. Damian is loyal to his friends, sticks up for himself, and others as well. He's also brave, to the point of stupidity.

He's not dumb, exactly, but he doesn't care for school and his common sense is slightly skewed compared to others. Damian always has to be doing something, and it always has to be something over the top. He loves danger, and he lives for it, which is why he's currently having an issue. Damian doesn't make good choices, always gambling and stealing. He doesn't know when to stop. However, he's not a bad person. He's a daredevil, and he'll make dumb decisions in the process.

History:

Damian always hated his parents. They didn't really care much about him and they criticized him all the time. Anything he could do to get out of the house, he did it. He always loved extreme things and was really into skateboarding and motocross. His family was poor, since his mother was an alcoholic and his father could never keep a job for more than a couple months. Damian realized he had to figure out a way to make quick money. He began gambling, betting on games here and there. Won in the very beginning. Once he started losing he got mixed in with the wrong people and pretty soon he was in debt. Became addicted to gambling and started stealing to support his habit. Damian's a real dare devil and risk taker.

He definitely grew careless with gambling and his addiction didn't help him. Damian went from having a decent amount of money from the start, until he wore out his lucky and betted more than he had to the point of debt. He had no money, but to continue gambling he started to steal. At first, it was just stores once a month. The worse his debt got, the more often he stole. Soon it was almost everyday, and it wasn't too long until he got caught. Apparently, a friend of his figured out what he was up to. His friend told his parents, and when that didn't help, more authority figures. Damian was sent to Mt. Horizon rather than jail, since he was too young and had a problem. Mt. Horizon is really the only hope he has to change.
