He is about making other people smile and feel better about there lives, even if his life just plain sucks.

Ezra usually leans to drugs to escape from his problems. He once huffed an entire container of bleach and ended up in the hospital. That's when his parents felt it necessary to seek help for there son. They found Horizon.

At Horizon, it seemed that Ezra didn't have to hide. That Horizon actually cared about him. Though the one day he did try to kill himself by sneaking into someplace. So on that level he is well very sneaky. He also know's how to pick locks.

When you don't know your birth parents it just sucks, Ezra is one of those kids. He was born and the day he was born he was adopted by two people who thought a baby would save there marriage, would cause the two of them to stop fighting. It would seem that it worked, however it didn't. His birth parents were rather young to have children, in fact the father wasn't very happy (the father of the girl) who was rather young and immature in his opinion. So it was based on the father of the girl, that the child would go into adoption the day he was born. That being the case, the family didn't even care who took him, just as long as it was out of there care.

The Father of the girl, was going to make sure that the baby wasn't born, but the mother was set on making sure her child was able to give birth. Which is what she did. She put a lot of responsibility on the girl. The girl however being underage had no choice but to obey.

So the little boy, named Ezra by the adopted parents, went home with them that day. His parents were fine at raising him, other then the times where he would be up all night listening to them fighting over and over again. Well most of the fights were about money, some of it involved him, some of it involved them staying together. Whatever it was, it was heard for him to handle it.

At the age of pre-teen, the divorce happened. Ezra was always in the middle of this battle, the mother demanding that he wanted to be with her, the father saying no he didn't. It was a nightmare. Ezra was stuck in this and was well forced to please both sides of his family. Even if it was hurting him the process. He felt like he had to be a counselor to them, often trying to examine them to help them along. He read multiple books on divorces, and why people had them. What to do if your in one, etc. none of them had the answers to what he was having to deal with.

So when it got a little to much, the stress was taking a toll on Ezra. Ezra turned to drugs for comfort and for safety. He overdosed a total of two time,s both of them landed him in the hospital. When it became to much the third time, he was almost overdosing on Ketamine. His parents at that time found Horizon, and sent him there.

His friends at Horizon see him as the pharmacist, often bringing drug related questions to him, and identifying certain mushrooms, he can identify any and every drug and knows how to mix and sometimes locate them.

He has a good friendship with Daisy, a shaky one with Shelby, and the rest of them see him as a good companion. However Ezra wants more from Daisy and is looking to possibly date her.
