Savannah, Georgia Present Day
Here in the deep south, we're known for our cotton and our sweet tea. We don't take competition lightly, but there's always enough southern hospitality to go around.
Seven generations ago, Mark Montgomery started a cotton business with a few hundred dollars and a big dream. Passing it down from generation to generation, it has become what it is today - the largest cotton manufacturing company in all of Georgia, still owned by the Montgomery family. But, only a few years ago, the O'Neils came to town, and with them brought their own dream. They started a cotton company themselves, and it has quickly grown into the second most successful cotton company. This hasn't set well with the Montgomery's. Much to their chagrin, their daughter is engaged to the oldest O'Neil boy.
Savannah is a beautiful town with money and plenty of sights to see. And don't forget the drama. Southern folk may be renowned for their manners, but it doesn't mean they always act so inviting.
