The Rules
OOC Rules
1: Be kind to all staff members of this site. We have all worked really hard for everyone to have a fun time here, and we don't appreciate people nagging and/or disrespecting us. If you want to tell us about a problem that you noticed about the site, then tell us nicely, not in a mean way. Remember you attract more flies with honey then vinegar.
2: Be kind and respectful to all other members. They're here for the same reason as you are: to have a good time and RP and make a couple friends.
3: NO nude or crude adult like pictures in your avatar or siggy. It may not insult you, but it may insult other people. If it happens, depending on the severity of the picture, you will be asked to remove it. If you are unsure about a picture, then contact an admin and we will let you know if it is appropriate or not.
4: No bashing or cyber bullying of any kind. If you make fun of anyone or disrespect someone based on their sexual orientation, race, etc. you're automatically and permanently banned. No exceptions. No excuses. If you don't like certain races or sexualities, etc. then keep it to yourself. This is a tolerant site and I will no accept anything but tolerance.
5. Common Sense. We all have it, so let's use it people.
6. Don't ask me, or any other admin, if you can be a staff member/admin. That seriously gets on my nerves. If other staff members are needed, an announcement will be posted and those most qualified will be chosen.
7. You have to have a signature and avatar. People need to see who they are RPing with. 9. Your avatar and signature must be your character. They can't be some icon with a funny saying or random pictures. Make sure the avatars are 100x100 and the signatures don't stretch the page.

Applying Rules
1: Your display name should be you characters first middle and last name in all lowercase letters. This must be done within a reasonable amount of time after being accepted, though feel free to do it before then.
2: Post your application title as such:: LASTNAME, First Middle.
3: If your application is not complete, put [NF] [NC] or [INC] in the title. People who are applying for canon characters have 7 days to complete their applications because canons are only put on reserve for 7 days. If you need more time, please let an admin know
4: Do not post anywhere but the face claim or OOC games until you have been accepted.
just joking. the real key words are needy was jello, she was lime green jello
5: You MUST post in the face claim. This lets other members know what celebrities are taken and it help avoid confusion about which celebrities are available and which ones are not. This goes for canon characters as well. And please, use real famous people, not random people who found on a website.
6: No Mary-Sues, male or female. It annoys me and I know it annoys everyone else to. No one wants to rp with someone who is perfect and does everything right and never makes a mistake or does anything wrong. No one is perfect; everyone has flaws. Seriously, PERFECT IS BORING people!
7: Each character must be on a separate account.
8: No more than 6 characters per person. If you decide to have more than one character, please make sure you are active with all of them. Want more than 6? PM an admin and if you think you're active enough with your characters, we'll allow it. I would like to keep the girl::guy, senior::junior::sophomore::freshmen ratio even. I would also like the canons used before originals begin to take over the site. Please, if you see we're over run with girls, try to create a guy. I understand that sometimes rping the opposite sex isn't easy, but I'd rather not have 25 girls and 2 guys. I'll keep a running total in one of the side bars.
Roleplaying Rules
1: No one expects you to write an entire novel in your posts. However, no one wants one liner posts either. They give you nothing to go off of and no one will want to rp with you. I won't make a minimum word count mandatory, but please try to get it good sized paragraph. It isn't that hard. This doesn't go for any ooc posts or im threads or anything like that. I know what it's like to get writer's block. Describe your character's clothes, attitude, the weather, what happened earlier that day, etc. If you can't think of anything then just come back later when you collect your thoughts.
2: All in-character posts must be done in 3rd person [except instant messaging and games]. 1st person posts are confusing and personally I don't like them.
3: This site is rated PG-13.
4: This rule goes with the one above. Swearing is allowed. I do it, you probably do it, and your parents probably do it. The point is that a lot of people do it. This is why I'm not going to ban swearing. Don't go overboard with it though. I don't want to see the f-bomb after every other word.
5: No power-playing or god-modding. This means don't control characters that don't belong to you in your post, don't control their reaction in your post, and basically the point is; don't even be their character in your post. You can mention their characters of course, but don't control them.
God-Modding Ex:
Jackie ran over to Vincent. "God I missed you," she said. She jumped into his arms and Vincent wrapped his arms around her. Vincent looked her in the eyes and said, "I love you."
This is totally unacceptable. If you are playing Jackie, how in the world are you going to make Vincent say I love you. Maybe whoever is playing Vincent wants him to drop Jackie on her ass. You may not like it, but it's their choice because it's their character.
6: Even though violence is allowed, you must get permission from the Admin and the other person to kill someone. The admin will then contact that person to make sure that they really are okay with that and understand the consequences [i.e. they can't play that character anymore]. That goes for becoming pregnant and committing suicide. We don't want 50 million girls running around the site pregnant or every tom, dick, and jane trying to kill themselves. Message an admin, and we [or I] will decide if the pregnancy and suicide attempt can happen. We will also make sure the other person is okay with the pregnancy idea, whether or not your plot calls for them to know about the baby.
okay seriously. this time i'm not kidding. key words are cheese and fries needy, wtf are you doing?!
7: Correct grammar and spelling is key. Use it, or leave. I can't stand when someone messes up on spelling the easiest word or things don't agree. This is stuff that you should have learned ages ago. I'm not saying be perfect 100% of the time because I have been known to mess up every now and then. However, make sure you use the spell check. That's what it's there for.
