Katie shook her head and sighed. She didn't care about it anymore. Thanks god, the girl wasn't smoking anymore. It was much better. Katie started to feel better and she didn't want to spoil her mood again. She laid back on the bed and closed her eyes. It felt good.

Few minutes passed and Katie opened her eyes again. She wasn't in a mood of nap right now, so she just sat on the bed. She turned her ipod again and started listening to it, but after few minutes it got boring too. Suddenly Katie looked at the girl, and she saw that she was reading a book. Katie tried to see the cover of the book. It was written "Romeo and Juliet" in big letters on the front cover of the book.

Katie loved books. They were her life. She liked almost all the writers on the earth, good writers of course, including Shakespeare. She enjoyed reading his books, it made her mind to leave the reality and move completely to the book. And now, when she saw that the girl toward her was reading Shakespeare, she was very confused. And curious. She swore in her mind, that she wouldn't talk to the girl anymore, but when it came to books... It was Katie's weakness. She never talked much usually, but she could talk about books forever.

"Do you like Shakespeare?" Katie asked after few minutes of thinking and hesitating. Se didn't like to be disturbed when she was reading the book, so she thought that girl wouldn't like it either. But she couldn't just sit and not say anything.

Shelby noticed that the girl was laying down and closing her eyes. Good. Maybe the girl would go to sleep. That would give Shelby time to just relax and read her book, written by one of the most brilliant playwrights ever to live. Shelby had never been a really big reader, not like her younger sister Jess. Jess could get into anything. Shelby was different. She had very specific and classic tastes. Almost everything she read and actually enjoyed was Shakespeare. She had liked 1984 by George Orwell and Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger, too, just to name a couple others.

"Do you like Shakespeare?" Shelby was just picturing Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes meeting when the girl interrupted her. Sure, she read the book before she saw the movie, but that didn't mean she couldn't imagine the actors did it? She looked up. She hated when people tried to talk to her while she was reading, but she decided against snapping the girl's head off. Well completely anyway. "I do actually. Why, does it look like I wouldn't be able to understand him?" Shelby asked. Most people, at first glance, just assumed that she was slutty trailer trash that couldn't possibly understand anything that required just a tad bit of thought. She wondered if this girl was the same.

Katie was staring at the cover of the book curiously, waiting for the girl to answer. She was just wondering, that was all. Well, at first she thought that this girl couldn't have any good sides, just bad ones, but now, when she saw that she was actually reading a book, and the one by Shakespeare, she started hoping, that this girl wasn't AS bad as she looked at first glance. Well, can't say, that Katie really believed in it, but she still hoped.

Katie saw that the girl didn't like to get interrupted, just like she thought. She hated it too. She usually fell so deep in the book, that it was hard for her to get interrupted and thrown out of it, literally. So, Katie just hoped that the girl wouldn't kill her, because sh really looked angry. Not a big surprise. And Katie didn't care it at all, she just wanted the answer to her question. And she got it soon enough. But it wasn't exactly what she could imagine.

"No, not at all, really." Katie said trying to sound honest, shaking her head, but she still couldn't help herself, but laugh unintentionally. But she stopped soon and looked at the girl again. "I was just wondering. I like Shakespeare too." Katie said assuming her. Then she added with more quiet voice, rather to herself, than to the other girl, "How could I not?"
