[/img] Pride and Prejudice… no. Twilight… again – no. Relentless. yes! Aaron had never read, well that was a lie – he had read before he had started the drugs. His counsellor had made sure he read as they said it would help him with getting back in to the “normal” world…he had been here two years…enough said that it obviously wasn’t working. It had been a week since he had been found in the kitchen whilst cutting himself. He had not seen the two girls who had helped him and he had looked everywhere for them…As he suddenly thought of the two girls he glanced down at his arms, the cuts were still clearly visible. He ran a hand over one of the marks, wincing slightly. He couldn’t believe he had done that to himself… But now he must return to reading. He took the book Relentless off the shelf and stared at it, turning it over in his hands and read the back, about someone who was running away from something apparently. He flicked through the first few pages, staring at the black ink that stared back at him. ”Why do I do this?” he muttered to himself and sighed, trouping over to one of the tables and sitting down, slamming the book down on to the surface and getting a glare from one of the staff members on duty. Aaron glared up at said staff member – a male Art teacher who Aaron had rarely spoken to but somehow the staff member knew his name. ”What?” Aaron said, rather loudly than he meant to. ”Look after the books Aaron Godden,” was the reply. ”I didn’t do anything!” ”I am not going to discuss it any more Mr Godden.” and the guy turned away and walked off in the opposite direction, towards a boy who looked like he was about to be sick in the corner by the fairytale section. Aaron sighed again and opened the book, the first word was – “It was a sunny day.” Oh this looked great fun. He stared dully at the book, not really reading it.

Katie walked slowly in the library. It was her favorite place in Mt. Horizon obviously. She felt so good here. Katie totally admired reading - she could spend hours alone reading the book. Books were her life. Katie was always antisocial person, so she wasn't communicating with people much. She didn't have any friends, so the books were her best friends. She simply loved books. Today was really good day. Calm and quiet day - that's what Katie calls good day. And she always spent her good days in the library. Katie entered library and quickly moved to one of the books' section not even looking around the library. She started to look for her favorite book. She quickly found it and her face brightened. "A man who laughs" by Victor Hugo, exactly what I was looking for." She thought and took it from shelf. Katie turned around and sat at the nearby table. Katie opened her book but before she started reading she looked around her. She saw only one boy sitting near her. She looked at him more closely. Katie recognized him though she couldn't see his face clearly. It was the boy whom she met when he was trying to cut himself one week ago. "I bet it's him!" Katie thought. She didn't say anything at first. Well, she's not really good at communicating with people. And what should she say? Katie stayed quiet for some minutes, but then she decided to say hi to the boy. "Um... Hello." Katie said with quiet voice though the boy could hear it well. ~~~~~~~ Word count: 270 Outfit: Here!

It had been a long day for Michael…
I don’t care about fucking Michael. was all Aaron could think as he stared at the page, it looked so dull. He had re-read that line over and over again and it was just getting complicated. He put the book down, exasperated and stared into space until –
"Um... Hello."
He was about to glare over at the person who had spoken when he saw who it was. His cheeks coloured slightly as he realized who this person was, the girl had helped him when he was a shaking wrack on the floor of the kitchens only a week before, and the scars still were showing thanks to it.
”Um..hiya.” he smiled sheepishly at her, not really knowing what to say, he hadn’t really thanked her properly for what she had done and how she had gone to call someone.
”I…I…” he was lost for word, something that he didn’t really do often and glanced down at his hands that were still resting on the book. ”I’ve been looking for you…and the other girl.” he glanced up at her, ”I wanted to thank you…for you know…the other day.”

After saying hello to the boy Katie's eyes still returned to the book. She searched the page she stopped at the last time, but she didn't start reading. She waited for the boy to answer yet so his answer wouldn't disturb her from reading. But her eyes were still fixed to the book. Katie took her eyes from the book when she heard a boy's voice and looked at him. Now she could see him better, she even saw cuts on his arms. It remembered her the day it happened and she unintentionally sighed. But her face soon changed into a warm smile. The easiest part for Katie when meeting people was to smile at them warmly. That was the only thing she could do well when she was talking to people. She always got nervous so she wasn't talking much in conversations with people, just smiled sometimes. "Oh, it's nothing. You're welcome though." Katie said smiling at him. Then she stopped for a minute. She just didn't know what to say. Oh, right, she wasn't really good at talking with people. Word count: 180 Outfit: Here! OOC: Now it's up to Aaron to start the conversation or something or Katie's not really gonna do that. lol.

"Oh, it's nothing. You're welcome though."
He stared at her awkwardly for a second or two, not really knowing what to say either. ”I’m sorry if I frightened you.” he muttered, looking down at the book in his hands before setting it on the table, ”I didn’t mean for anyone to find me there, sort of by accident that you two turned up.” he shrugged.
”So, the obvious question – why did you come here? What did they send you here for?” normally he would annoy people and pester them, especially newbies like this one but she was kind, she had helped him from death ultimately…he could never repay here.
OOC – Sorry, its really short!

Katie turned her head to the book again and started reading, because she wasn't waiting that the boy would answer. She had only read one line when she heard the boy's voice. Katie turned her head to the boy again when she heard his question. She moved her eyes to the ceiling and started thinking about what to answer but her eyes soon returned to the boy and after few seconds she answered. "Why am I here? Interesting question. I really want to know too. Maybe because I ran from home twice, or maybe because people think I'm strange, or maybe because I have never even had any friend, or maybe because they think that I have some psychological problems, or maybe because..." Katie stopped for a second and laughed. Then she sighed and said, "Well, whatever. And I think I know why you are here." She smiled halfheartedly. ~~~~~~~ Word count: 153 Outfit: Here! OOC: It'z okay! Minez iz so short too! lol

He smiled slightly, ”A lot of kids who come here don’t know why they are here, sometimes its all in their head what they do, like brain problems…its quite scary walking around this place when there are nutters everywhere…I suppose we all are nutters here.” he shrugged.
”Yeah, I came here cause I attempted suicide once and have an odd obsession with knives…and the normal drug addiction.” he went over what she had just said, ”Runaways…yeah, we have a few of those, I’m nearly coming to the end of my time here and to be honest…well, you experienced it at first hand…nothing has really changed.”

Katie almost forgot the book, but she still couldn't wait to continue reading it. It was her favorite book. She had read it like three or four times already, but she was still addicted to this book. Well, maybe because the main character of this book was much pitier than Katie. And it made her feel that there are people who are in much worse situation than she is.
Katie listened to the boy attentively. "You love knives? Funny, I'm kind of really afraid of them." She said smiling halfheartedly. "Yes, you are right, nothing has changed." Katie sighed. It wasn't much different from home. And plus, here were all these strange kids, though in her home she had seen stranger ones.
Suddenly Katie realized that she didn't even know the boy's name. Well, she had met someone in this place finally and she didn't even know his name. Funny. "So... Um... what's your name?" Katie asked to him.
